A pesky weed to most, to me a dandelion is a creation of great beauty and tenacity. When it lifts its flowerhead toward the light, it opens to reveal 1,000s of yellow blossoms. Eventually those blossoms are shoved away and the fluffy seed head appears. When they are ready for planting the little parachutes take flight. Not all seeds take root, but those that do are an example of doing it right.

Lesson Re-learned:

      I thought I had a virus and was really dragging, but nothing developed. The tiredness continued though then I gained over 10 pounds. Eek! It was water retention and rapidly increased. When I woke up with swollen legs- upper and lower- and sausage feet, I had one of those ahah moments.       A sweet young lady said, "God knows we are a forgetful people!"

      "A Forgetful People" I couldn't get that thought out my mind. For days it hung there 24/7 waiting for a response. Finally, in prayer, the answer came before I asked the question.

On the day before Thanksgiving I had a heart cath, which praise God showed only mild vessel narrowing and no major problems. After 2 days of being pampered at my son's I returned home to rest prior to a final test. Worse, I don't know what I did.But I injured my right hand- yep! the one I surgery on.Today the x-ray was fine. Whew, I didn't mess up the surgical repair. My hand hurts a bit, but that's probably a good thing as it reminds me to be careful.So I will rest it for another day or two then begin my next needlework project. One of those on a wire stand, that you could turn from the normal mirror over to a magnifying mirror. I had cut bright yellow paper to cover the mirrors. That's how the dictionary defines hoar frost. Outside everything is white with this thick frost- no snow, just heavy white &amp; frosty. The trees are so interesting because the texture of the frost is more hairy than feathery.
